  • Yes, all functional wares (mugs, bowls, plates) are glazed with lead-free, food-safe glazes, though gentle hand washing is highly recommended to extend the lifespan and preserve the glazes.

  • Thermal shock can crack handmade pottery. Avoid direct stovetop use or extreme, rapid temperature changes.

  • Each item is hand thrown in my Melbourne home studio. After being thrown, works have to dry a little before being trimmed. After trimming they are left to completely dry out before the first bisque firing. Once they have been bisque fired they are glazed and fired again to create the finished piece. The whole process takes 2-3 weeks.
